Didn`t know if to post this here or not - I`ll just duck in and out of all the pages - so you can`t catch me and throw me out!!
Sylvie told me there was a fellow Scot on board - and here you are NOT - confession time - neither am I - my father was born in Tottenham and lived over half his life in the Essex area - my paternal grandparents came from the Isle of Wight - ancestor John Doughty sailed with Drake and was beheaded by him on the Golden Hind for being a traitor - hey, now there is a bit of history - now back to you Diane and I am glad you are here, as am I - which part of Scotland do you live in - I`m on the West Coast, North Ayrshire. I wonder if Sylvie has fainted if she has read I`m not a true Scot !!!!! LOL.
Have a wonderful 2011 Diane and, hopefully, that Orrin will work a miracle and all the reviews, pictures and videos will appear at once - they might all be jumbled up together but they will appear - sorry Orrin - you know I`m only joking !!!!! LOL - AM I !!!!!!

You have an ancestor who sailed with Drake on the Golden Hind?! That's brilliant, even though he did eventually behead him. You didn't say if you were born in Scotland but if you were, you're a Scot ;) I moved up to a small town, inbetween Perth & Dundee about 11 years ago so still get asked if I'm enjoying my holiday :)
I'm waiting patiently to read the reviews and any photos, but as long as everyone enjoyed themselves that's all that matters.
I'll wish everyone all the best for 2011, again!

I was born in Scotland but as far as I am concerned I am British - I don't refer to myself, officially, if you like, on any forms etc as Scottish - nationality is British - believe in the Union! Yeh, it is pretty good having a bit of history in the family - John Doughty was Drake's friend but his principles against slavery overcame the friendship - that was why Drake beheaded him personally - there is a plaque on the replica Golden Hind showing where he was beheaded - OMG Orrin will think he is running a history class now - och well - at least it does involve America !
Quite funny you say about 11 years ago - it is just over 10 years since I moved here and I still feel as though I'm on holiday sometimes - think I am getting more accepted by the locals though - but you are always an "incomer" ! Scots are friendly but there is always that element !
Hope you had a great time over the festive season - seems quite a while ago now, doesn't it!!!!!
Speak to you soon. Share views on Orrin's input - yeh, come on Orrin - what is holding you up - remember you've also got a new album to think about !!!!! - nag - not me !!!!!!!!
