I agree that "Don't let the last word." is a great, crazy radio-friendly song, what's not to like? But I have a soft spot for "Baby you're my reason" because there's something very warm and familiar about it and "Hawaiian surprise" because it has my favorite line of the new songs: "you don't know nothing 'bout love, till you're somebody's friend". :D I just love everything about this album: the lyrical contents, the vocal harmonies, the melodies, the conviction in OB's voice and great instrumental passages. I think OB needs a great cool logo: something that's a cross between a guitar and a bow and arrow thing (Rocknhood reference), but the letters OB incorporated in there. Ah, if you could only see the picture in my head. :D Anyway, I think hats would be appropriate, a small silver-tone pin with the logo or a leather bracelet. Those are my ideas, anyone else? Some time ago when I was shopping at Claire's (A chain store here in New York), I saw a silver toned necklace, with a silver toned guitar pick attached to it. The pick said "Rock" on it with a lightning bolt carved behind it. Thought it looked really cool, but stupid me didn't buy it. Maybe something like that with OB on it, since Orrin is a guitar player! Also, the military style dog tags... I have two dog tag chains one with the "Pirates of the Carribean" logo, the other with Jack Skeleton from "Nightmare before Christmas". 3:34:14 PM | Hi Anna, Sylvie told me how to get onto web page to order Orrin`s CD but, I can`t seem to order it - unless by all the keys I keep pressing I`ve ordered about a thousand - what is happening is I go into merchandise : order 1 copy : press into cart : back the screen goes to original page - nothing comes up about payment method or anything else, just those two pages. I have been trying practically all day and through Michael`s forum page I posted a "help" notice - all I can say is to thank Orrin because the laugh myself, Helena, Sylvie and my "twin" Kathy have had over this has been well worth the trouble - I assure you it has been a "fun" day and as I said to them "I am going to get this bloody CD even if it kills me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you can help - even if it is to tell me I haven`t a clue what I am doing because it is all perfectly simple if I had just done .....................

There was only one that commented on his music and sound compared to his Brother's, understandable I suppose. I did my best to explain that yes it was different, but then it would be.

The songs were ready and he was more than willing to perform them, he just needed producers. He went to Nashville recently and I hope he'll tell us more about it in the weeks and months to come. Hopefully, he's getting help with his "half baked" songs... :) The story behind this is that in '03, song titles he was working on at the time were posted on OB's fan site and I asked him about them recently as to why they weren't included on this album. I wish I'd been there, although I'd probably have been thrown out. There's no way I could have sat through She Don't Let Nobody. I'd have been up, dancing and generally making a fool of myself :)
Orrin looked and sounded great but you already know that, it's the first time I've seen him perform and would loved to have seen more.

I've listened to this so many times, you'd think I'd be immune, just a little bit, to it's effects by now but I'm not! As soon as I hear the drums at the beginning, I'm right there in the song all the way through. If this doesn't stop I'm going to have put a "caution: brace yourself di" by it! :) Fortunately, that's not possible so I'll just have to suffer! hehe

There's me thinking I had the site to myself! ;) I've never posted about this song when everyone was on here, but I couldn't resist while it's quiet.
Whenever I'm on the computer for awhile I set my own little playlist from the music on my pc and go about whatever I'm doing, merrily singing along to them - a dreadful sound!! :) I included 'Don't let the Last Word'.
Oh Anna, as soon as I hear those drums & the violin that's it. I'm 'there' all the way through. It's so rare for a song to hit me like that, but this one does. It's more than a song.
So to answer your question, I heard it on my pc - sorry for rambling. It's good to hear from you :)

Well, I like good music and strong voices. I've seen Michael twice live in concert here in germany, on his Facebooksite was a YouTube Link to one of Orrins performances. I liked it very much and found this site on the Internet. :-)
I'm sure there's a lot of song material in Orrins studio, so let's hope there is more to come! He's sooo good!!
