Hope next year, you make a stop here in New York for a concert (maybe at BB Kings!) or any theatre for that matter..LOL! It would be nice to see at leat one "Bolton" concert here in NY, since the other Bolton (gee...I wounder who I'm refering too...LOL!) prefers New Jersey as a tour stop. Anyway...kidding aside...it would be great to see you live! They also have free summer concerts at Coney Island (here in Brooklyn), that you can consider as well. I have not been to any of these shows, but would love to get to one eventually. And Orrin, I'm talking about top name people who perform there...like Donna Summer, Julio Englesias, Frankie Valli, Air Supply, etc..

First we were going to go to Disneyland and wreck the place then Sylvie thought you would much prefer Jamaica - so is that okay with you Orrin ?????? Sylvie, I told you I would tell him - thought it only fair to warn him....right I'm away now to get another message into Oprah on the BOLTON BOYS being on her last series - that's right Orrin - you don't know anything about that either - there is a campaign going on - every day, a little group of us, get onto Oprah - hey, anybody on here want to start doing that too - just go to oprah.com and get your message in.....support them BOTH.....remember to mention Orrin's new CD.....also, maybe about good idea to invite Mom to be in the audience |

Just tell the oprah team why you'd like to see them there, or reasons you think they should. The first time in '95 was so great and so many people learned about OB through Oprah, including myself. I've already sent in 4 mesages and 2 included a request for OB. I even threw in that since she was the one who wanted to sing, maybe Oprah should have their mom Helen have her 15 minutes of fame. It was great seeing you on Facebook and loved your cool hat!! I listen to your CD last night, it was good listening to it again!! Wanted to let you know, I wrote a letter to the Brooklyn Borough President, in the hopes of getting you and/or Michael to perform here in Brooklyn, NY. Remember the free summer concerts I mentioned to you (see my message above), plus I found out... they also have concerts at the Baseball stadium (also at Coney Island, the home of the minor league team the Brooklyn Cyclones). Don't know if writing to him will help in any way, but thought I'd give it a shot!

However, I will set up a new topic with the link to the "rocknhood channel" on YouTube and then all you have to do is subscribe to it, and check the box that will notify you by email whenever a new video is posted. Not sure if you are looking at the messages here or not, but I was curious about something... Last year when you released your CD, you performed only one show in Connecticut. This whole year has come and gone, and you have not done much of anything to promote your CD. No tour of any kind...why is that?!? I thought you would have a few concerts here and there, maybe a stop over here in New York...but you kind of "disappeared". And now again, you are just performing one show in Connecticut. What have you been doing all this time?!? I don't mean personally, I mean professionaly...as an artist. What is the point releasing a CD, and then you don't connect with the fans and promote it? Hopefully, you don't have any personal problems that may prevent you from touring. In any event...I wish you the best at this one night only concert, and hope it opens the door to future concerts for you for next year!! Take care and Happy Halloween!! :)

When artists release new CDs, not only is it very expensive to produce them (beginning with the recording sessions, etc) but touring also requires a lot of professional promoting...which again is quite expensive. Keep in mind that Orrin doesn't have a "big" label behind him like his little brother. Aside from taking care of his family, Orrin is doing this on his own. During the winter months, he does perform in Florida. Thank you so much for the good wishes for his upcoming concert in CT! I hope I was able to address some of your concerns. I know that Orrin appreciates all the support he receives from his fans. :o)

1:46:20 PM | I can see your point of view Helena but can understand exactly what Anna is saying and that is why, for just now, I believe we've got to be little foot soldiers and keep supporting and plugging away and the one way to do that is to keep putting stuff out on FB and especially right now in helping to promote, allbeit a wee cog in a big wheel, his upcoming show for if he gets that sold out and it is a success then other little doors may open and who knows what the future may hold but he needs help and support he can't do it on his own ! :)
