Don't believe anyone has told you ..... there is a whole group of us going to Jamaica for a holiday - we started off as Orrin & the Famous Five : then it became Orrin & The Magnificent Seven : then someone wanted Michael (whoever he is) to come along as well, so now it is : Brothers in Arms because we are in Dire Straits....we are okay for travelling, Jennifer has got sat nav on her wheels now. First we were going to go to Disneyland and wreck the place then Sylvie thought you would much prefer Jamaica - so is that okay with you Orrin ?????? Sylvie, I told you I would tell him - thought it only fair to warn him....right I'm away now to get another message into Oprah on the BOLTON BOYS being on her last series - that's right Orrin - you don't know anything about that either - there is a campaign going on - every day, a little group of us, get onto Oprah - hey, anybody on here want to start doing that too - just go to oprah.com and get your message in.....support them BOTH.....remember to mention Orrin's new CD.....also, maybe about good idea to invite Mom to be in the audience |

Just tell the oprah team why you'd like to see them there, or reasons you think they should. The first time in '95 was so great and so many people learned about OB through Oprah, including myself. I've already sent in 4 mesages and 2 included a request for OB. I even threw in that since she was the one who wanted to sing, maybe Oprah should have their mom Helen have her 15 minutes of fame. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Well, hope you guys join in the efforts of our Dare Team! We just think it would be great exposure and a lot of fun. Hope you think so too. Take care all. I don't go in the Forum and I'm afraid I don't know an awful lot about Oprah (I know, I haven't lived) but I did venture onto her site. I got lost after that! Anyway, I've posted for more info on the MB Yahoo Group and with a bit of luck someone from the Forum will post a link and more details on there.
Hope you don't mind me posting this in 'off topic', I just thought I'd let you know I'm trying to follow the thread.

2:44:57 PM | You're so right. With both of their schedules being so hectic/busy trying to coordinate them with Oprah's remaining shows might be a problem. But, wouldn't it be a hoot! Anyone have that "genie in the lamp" that will grant us a wish? LOL!! |

9:10:15 AM | Hey girls, aside from coordinating schedules, I doubt there would be a problem. Michael has been on Oprah many times before and OB got great exposure from the Oprah show. 11:44:11 AM | Hi everyone, I am still on the case - the other day I sent Oprah another message telling her about Michael's achievements in the Pro-Am Tournament and about his other golf competitions throughout the year to raise money for charity and I also said about Orrin still being involved in his charity work (he had better be !!) so there was another great subject she had to talk to the two of them over and we have new girls come onto the MB forum and they are putting in requests - och come on - we can't lose - let's be positive !!! :) Sylvia. 4:05:21 PM | Hi everyone.....to let you know we have heard over on MB's that Oprah has announced that her live show will be finishing on 25th May....we do not know if she will, between then and now, record enough shows to be shown up until September which was the first date announced when the show would cease completely...have to await further announcements. Can inform you that requests are still being submitted on behalf of Orrin and Michael for consideration to be given to them appearing in Oprah's last season .....just have to hope all our endeavours prove fruitful !! :)
